I see a lot of players reporting that bf4 is crashing with your connection to the server times out or Connection to the server has been lost. Please check your internet connection or try again later.

I reseached this problem and found out that is was nvidia geforce experience doing this.

I just uninstalled GFE and BF4 was running ok no more crashing.

i see many people blaming EA/Dice and i didnt see any one comming up with my solution.

Just uninstall GFE.

No one confirms that GFE is the problem of all this crashing.

I tested it many times and when GFE is installed BF4 will crash, do i uninstall GFE and BF4 doesnt crash.

No 1 came with this solution and no 1 confirms or reports that GFE is doing this.

My test confirms that it is GFE. and i test every new version of GFE if nvidia fixed it.

The latest version 2.5.13.6 lets BF4 still crash.

Also GFE slows down the internet connection, programms on your pc that need the lan connection slow down when they need the internet.
BF4 needs the internet connection that is why BF4 crashes every 20 min, What GFE is doing with the internet connection of my pc i dont know.

When GFE is installed some internet pages get a error like the Asus download site.
Programms on my pc get a error when they need the internet like Asus EZ update.

Every program that needs the internet slows dont or gets a error.
Uninstall GFE and everything is back to normal.

I have a fast fiberglas internet connection 50/50 Mbps.
GFE is doing someting with the lan connection on my motherboard i dont know how to explane this a other way.

WHY nvidia??? does GFE needs so much bandwidth?????? and slows down the internet connection in my pc.

I have GFE installed and have no problems. I have noticed a new setting that recommends using gfe optimised settings for supported games. I found in the past that using optimised settings caused my games to crash.

Maybe try turning that option off and see what happens

That optimised settings i just a button you can press to optimise your games it cant be turned off.

That still doesnt explane why GFE slows down the internet connection of my pc.

And it doesnt explane why the game BF4 doesnt crash with GFE uninstalled with the same optimised settings.

many people have this crashing with BF4.

i found this youtube movie with the same problem.

And this is my latest crash:

like I said it was just a suggestion. I have never heard of GFE slowing down an internet connection and I never noticed it slowing mine down.

its not a big slow down but after i uninstalled GFE i saw the differents.

U only can tell if you uninstall GFE.

You have to test it to understand.

if people write down there pc specs maybe we can find the problem.

it can be the software or hardware.

Maybe GFE has a conflict with other software on my pc.
i have Asus ai suite installed who knows maybe its that.

if i only install:

Windows 10 64bit
Intel chipset driver
Nvidia driver
Realtek sound driver
intel LAn driver
and Battlefield 4.

Then i can test if the problem still is there.

if the crashing stopped then GFE hase a conflict with a different program.

if GFE is causing you to crash than you have other PC issues you need to fix.

But many people crash with BF4 your connection to the server timed out.

So i need to uninstall programs 1 by 1 to rule them out???

Do you mean hardware or software????

GFE isn't eating up all your bandwidth like you're implying... A connection loss is a full-on network stop.

The game crashing however... that could be related to the program.

How do i fix this problem???

Is it software based.

Is there some1 that wants to troubleshoot this isue with me by typing the pc specs and installed software?

What i think that the problem can cause are:

Samsung 840 EVO i have BF4 installed on it as my 2nd SSD D:\
This SSD is known of his read speed problems who know it still has a problem.

Asus AI suite in conflict with GFE.

I will do a clean install windows 10 with only the drivers and BF4 installed.

Windows 10 64bit
Intel chipset driver v10.0.27
Nvidia driver v355.60 GFE v2.5.13.6
Realtek sound driver vR2.79
intel LAn driver v20.2
and Battlefield 4.
PB setup. I delete the pb folder from the BF4 folder and use pbsetup to make a new folder.
I run GFE and optimize BF4.

Then i run the game.

Ping in the same server is much lower now 8 ping. there is noting interfering with my lan at this point.

BF4 stil is ok no crashing. i wil play longer if it stays this way.
