"Waiting For Game To Exit" and "Logging In" issue

Since the move to "pluginless" mode of battlelog, these messages tend to show up sporadically in the blue status bar while trying to join a server. when this happens, I have to close the blue bar and try to reconnect.

Does this happen to you as well? I'm using Chrome, btw.

The whole game is screwed since this latest patch, I worked out how to get the game to load last night by deleting files now this morning it won't even open my browser.

What's even more annoying is not hearing a word from them about what is being done to fix it.

Very bad way to run a company.

Go to bf4 dir and set bf4.exe and BF4WebHelper.exe to not run as admin and battlelog to pluginless start and it worked.

Repair your game in origin. Right click on game and Repair Game - Helped me.

After enabling the Plugin free battlelog it will keep stating that "origin not started" , even though launching the game from origin pops me right into battlelog logged in.

Yeah, the pluginless thing is pretty much broken. You're lucky if you can get it to even work at all.

But hey, f*** Chrome users, am I right DICE ? Which is, like 50% of all users. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers) [en.wikipedia.org]

Fixed it after all, just had to uninstall and delete origin folder in %appdata% and then reinstall it.

go into your battlefield folder and select either bf4webhelper.exe or bf4x86webhelper.exe and go on compatibility settings set them to run in administrator mode

Just tried it, didn't work for me. It seems purely random whether the game will actually launch any given time I try to launch it.

EDIT: Actually, since I set all those .exes to run as administrator, it hasn't worked once. I have the Server Browser up stuck at "LOGGING IN" and a separate Chrome tab with the forums page that said "ONLINE ON BATTLEFIELD 4 ON PC" for about 30 seconds before the blue line disappeared.

I'm having a lot of trouble believing that this wasn't spotted in QA before Dice released this.
