Watts up everyone ! As you probably read in the topic i need help with sniping in this game! I am just an average player with a 1.27 kd (nothing special). And i always use the assault class. But i have found that sniping is super fun! But i cannot get consistent with it. My best headshot is at only 300m and i was just lucky. My aim is super of although its getting better. And i feel like i am in the process of learning. But i am not helping my team at all. My progress is so slow that i am wondering if it is even worth it. I score maybe 6 kills per match. End of story! But i know that there are some really good snipers out there so can ypu give me some tips? What should i do? How long did it take for you to become good? I would be really happy if you guys could help me out!

Use a 6x, 7x or 8x scope.
Have a powerful side arm like a G18 and if in doubt switch to it.
Never sit still.
Focus your engagements between 50m and 150m.

If you're only engaging between 50m and 150 .. why not use a 4x and get rid of the glint?

If you're only looking for long range shots, learn how to adjust your scope to the proper range .. learn to lead on moving targets. Different rifles have different muzzle velocities and trajectories. Just gotta pick which one you like best.

You're not looking for high kill count, you're looking for targets of opportunity and keeping players off objectives .. that's my opinion at least.

DON'T!!! use a high magnification scope (6x, 7x or 8x). Don't use 14x variable scope... it will hurt building muscle memory since it feels more sensitive than the base scope. Try to be patient with ur shots until u get a good amount of accuracy, then increase speed. don't do it the other way around.

pick a rifle that fits ur playstyle. if ur going mid-long range (50-200m) use a m98b, l115, gol magnum, jng-90. for closer range use the m40a5, cs5. (scout elite can be a good choice as well BUT u can't get one shot headshots on more than 90meters.... so yeah...).
its all about muscle memory, so choose a sensitivity and stick with it.
Thats about it...
