I'm sick of this retarded bullshit.

It's stupid, inane, and pointless.

Jumping should slow your character down so that when someone is running for cover, they're not imitating a 30 metre hurdle event with invisible hurdles because 'oh my god I might get SHOT!'

It does get quite annoying at times, but you can still kill them with ease if you are using an assault rifle, snipers on the other hand are difficult to use against bunny hoppers since you can't get a clear shot at the head.

Idea: Just put a 3 second delay to jumps that are not part of vaulting over an obstacle, problem solved.

And yes, I agree with you. Bunnyhopping around corners and generally playing Battlehop is bad... really bad. ;)

A bullet in the arm does very little harm. But a bullet in the head can make you very dead.

Bunnyhopping is a BF tradition.
GTFO.

Why don't you simply predict where the guy is going to land while jumping around? I didn't play a lot of infantry in BF4 or BF3, but I did play a lot of infantry in BFBC2. I know that bunnyhopping really isn't a well thought of escape in a firefight.

You're just stumbling across problems and start complaining, instead of considering what to do with it. There is always a counter to someone's playstyle. You just have to figure out which counter yourself.

Agreed.
I've never had problems countering bunnyhops.

i think they should just nerf pretty much everything ,... we could go around throwing dildos at each other, and if we are close we could beat each other with dildoes

not a lot, but just enough to cause arousal

and ya, the waves on the ocean maps are seriously OP bro

If I'm running out in the open and I've got no cover nearby and a sniper round cracks past my head, I sprint/jump/zig-zag to the nearest cover. What else am I supposed to do? let myself die?

IT's more an issue when you're in vehicles versus infantry.

Someone will get relatively close, and bunny-hop the rest of the distance to get to you.

I shouldn't have to use high explosive rounds so I can hit someone bunny-hopping towards me with C4.

And if I'm a sniper, I generally don't miss often enough for bunny hopping to be a problem.

Yea, slow down when you jump while running at a sprint.

Because screw you physics!
