Why battlepacks are terrible, more or less

So I play this game a ton and finally hit the cap and my last battlepack was 3 25% boosts, a 50% boost and a sight. Now why in the world would I need four boosts now that I've reached the experience limit? Why couldn't I get a few of the hundreds of attachments I've yet to unlock? What do you guys think, should there be a different system for attachments in future games or is this one fine?

I think it's a good system, you can boost your total score?

I think it's a decent system and I just feel like the higher level you get the less rewarding it feels and it gets kind of disappointing after a while. I think that they should have higher chances for attachments and less boosts, maybe a few more double xp events to compensate for it you know?

Battle packs were supposed to get you addicted to unlocks. Was supposed to keep you playing. But the rewards were horrendous.

Haha yeah, I mean it did feel good at first but what got me hooked was the game, then eventually battle packs are pretty much my only dislike in this game they get sadder and sadder every level.

I say it's a terrible system.

There's a lot to unlock, so much that I ignore most of it, especially since there doesn't seem to be a clear path to a lot of unlocks, or you need an epic amount of kills which I get bored of.

I would rather just know that I need X kills for Y unlock, and I know you do with some, but I got bored of all that a long time ago.

Too much randomness. Not doubt BF1 will be much simpler, you watch.

I have close to a thousand unused experience boosts. This equates to alot of wasted, worthless battlepacks. The battlepack system adds nothing to my game at all. And now, almost every batllepack is all boosts.

I agree for the most part.

Every battlepack should give players: * camo, one portrait unlock, one graphic/icon unlock EVERY TIME.

On top of that, you can get one or two attachments, one to 3 boosts, and always get two boosts and 1 attachment or 2 attachments and 1 boost - ALWAYS.

I think that's fair.

I have probably 100+ attachments I cant even equip and wont be able to use for at least 3-5 more weapon unlocks - then ill get to the weapon the attachments are for LOL.

Sucks.

Then again, I gave up asking EA/Origin to do anything different because they cant even IP BAN the 1000 most vocal and obnoxious CHEATERS and HACKERS in BF4 multi. Like, the obvious ones. Hey EA, guess what? If someone goes 80/13 in a match, with ridiculous accuracy and mostly points from kills and nothing else - THATS A CHEATING BIATCH. Remove them lol.

The more cheats leave the more people will play and many will return to play. They should give VOUCHERS for players - and if 3 players "use" a voucher in a match, they can KICK that player from the match. So it would take 3 to agree on someone hacking. Idk, just an idea.

Or make their addresses public and they will never cheat again, knowing the consequences of angry adults knocking on their door lol

Battlepacks mess up the linear progression of unlocks for certain attachments, that you ONLY get in battlepacks...I still get them on my 140 account for things I should have unlocked in any normal progression 2 years ago? I don't like it, nor the xp boosts.

If you keep killing with a certain weapon, you will always have all unlocked for that weapon by around the 480-510 kill range. (kill limit for all unlocked depends on how many accessories for that specific weapon). So that is always very linear and predictable.

Agreed. And if OP had cared to master more than just 18 weapons, he would know that there are no more unlocks to make for weapons thereafter. Thereby also muting his own second argument.

I have about 700 25% xp boosts
“The essential act of war is destruction, not necessarily of human lives, but of the products of human labour. War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking in the depths of the sea, materials which might otherwise be used to make the masses too comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent.” ― George Orwell, 1984

They were a waste of development time, be honest about it....and yes as long as we have them they should be in game currency...or just bundle together into one round of locker and be done with them.

Yeah that could be awesome - Adding up 1,000+ boosts into one round would make one hell of a wild score! ;o)

We should be able to trade battlepacks with other players. Either for battlepacks, or for some sound advice.

Then people wouldn't buy them.

Do people actually buy them? At the mo a battlepack would cost about the same as buying the game!!!!!!!
