Upcoming Balance Changes

Hi guys,

A lot of people have been providing feedback on the gameplay balance, and we've been looking at the data and feedback (as we always do). Here's a quick list of changes we're considering for the next update. I do not have an ETA for you on this update yet, but once we know we'll provide dates.

- K10: Reduce bullet damage to 33
- Saiga and PTR: reduce recoil to bring more in line with Cop faction DMRs
- HCAR and HK51: reduce recoil to bring more in line with SCAR-H and SA-58
- .410 Jury: Increase damage per pellet to become more effective
- FMG-9 and M/45: Increase damage per round to 25 and push out falloff start range to make these weapons more effective
- Battlerifle min damage increased to 25 across the board
- AKM min damage reduced to 24

ROUND 1 - FIGHT!

Just kidding, be nice to each other. We've tested these changes and find them to be good improvements, look forward to constructive feedback.

Can you please change the M16 and M416? I think they're way too powerful. And all the other AR's need buffs or the others need nerfs.

Looks good. Any chance the scout elite sees an rpm reduction with the straight pull bolt? Its pretty spammy right now

So no update if were getting netcode patch so wouldnt get instakilled constantly? Wonder why the bf4 fixes werent added to this. Beta was solid and now pure horror.

Battle rifle minimum damage increased niceee the SA-58 is the best gun in the game as of now upping the M4/5 damage is nice as well i like the little gun.

Also can the shotguns possibly get a bit more spread its like every shot is a slug with next to no range.

Also pleeeeeeeeeease make all pistols available to every class.

Why were the .338 rounds nerfed so harshly? Please buff it to make it more attractive, because as of right now it is arguably the worst and most expensive attachment you can purchase. Also is it intentional that the .300 Knockout bullet velocity is so slow?

Sounds good to me but atm much more interested in seeing the tickrate fixes applied and quickly if possible

but i think the assault rifles should be over hauled in general they are usefull in any situation but master of none...but in the moment they are just godlike


in generell i think every class should be able to kill any class in the right situation and that there should be no "useless" guns

No just no it would ruin the individuality of the classes and their specific set ups, and well make this game like all the others.

K10 - Agree

Saiga/PTR - The cop faction DMRs are statistically almost identical, the PTR is better than them in velocity and reload speed.
I'd rather see that one DMR per faction got the same range profile as the saiga, but with 50 or 55 max damage. Diversifying :)

HCAR/HK-51 - They simply shoot too slow to be viable. I am killed before I've even shot 10 bullets. Bring their min dmg to 28.

.410 Jury - Agree

FMG-9 - Agree, but it could use 28 to get an edge over the huge mag P90. It is a syndicate weapon after all.

M-45 and Uzi need the same kind of buffs. Their minimum damage needs to be higher than the MPX, like 17

Battlerifles: The SA-58 does not need a min dmg increase if it stays the same in other stats. It'd kill the AKM.

AKM - Yes this change is okay, but again do not let it be outclassed at max range by the SA-58. Super important

Carbines are okay but one needing the buff is RO933 15DMG, seriously.

I find that the HK and HCAR are still not up to par. Less firerate and higher recoil than both Scar and SW-58.

There is no reason I would want to use the HK or HCAR at this point..

The HCAR seems and sounds like it would be a very powerful weapon! Why not leave it the way it is, and increase the damage by just a bit.

I mean, it basically sounds like a WWII B.A.R

EDIT: The OSW-58 is already REALLY good. More min damage means its even better. Sweet.
