Rep Changes Inbound - "Last chance" discussion

Hi guys,

Working on getting the last tweaks to the Rep system in-game. Thought I'd share where we are with these, and get any last minute feedback you guys have.

There isn't a ton of change here, but we think these small tweaks will be effective.

OPERATOR
1- extra magazines/ fast climb
2 - fast ready / healing upgrade
3 - fast aim / revive upgrade
4 - fast reload / delayed trigger

MECHANIC
1 - extra magazines / extra grenade
2 - fast ready / fast repair
3 - fast aim / extra 40mm grenades
4 - fast swap / delayed trigger

ENFORCER
1 - fast throw / reduced fall
2 - extra grenade / flak jacket
3 - fast aim / upgraded ammo box
4 - fast reload / extra charges

PROFESSIONAL
1 - fast climb / reduced fall
2 - hold breath / low profile
3 - advanced spot / fast unspot
4 - fast swap / delayed trigger

Please note that we've already changed the required score for each Tier, it will be 750 / 1500 / 3000 / 6000 when these changes go live. Offer your comments and feedback below! :)

I might be able to make Tier 4 without driving in circles now. I might just wait until this patch goes live to even attempt Syndicate Assignments.

Seems fine. I can't wait for it to be easier to get through it though. It takes me a whole game on Hotwire as a Mechanic to get all 4.

i like it the extra mag for the mechanic will be nice as will extra grenade for the enforcer. i have a question could we ever get 2 smoke grenades instead of one? we have three gas and two molotovs so why not two smoke? just curious i like to be sneaky sometimes and i think we had 2 or 3 in battlefield 4.

When is go live? I still hate the first tier of professional. I would rather see tier 2 replace tier 1 and fast reload / extra magazines in the new tier 2.

For the mechanic place extra nade higher in tier, we should try to reduce the nades not make it easier

Replace it with delayed trigger or flack

Also, what does fast ready do?

I really don't like that flack jacket is gone for mechanic , i could use delayed trigger but them nades tho.

Is fast ready and or fast aim really necessary for mechanic? You can aim pretty quick with SMG's no?

when is this one expected to roll out (ball park is fine)

and whats the current rep tier requirements so I can better understand the new system

Tier 4 will be like getting tier 3 right now.

I'd prefer FAST SWAP instead of reduced fall for Professional. High fall damage in BF is silly as it is and having a mitigator to it simply doesn't make up for the missed opportunities. There are many other things we could run if fall damage was lower to begin with and we wouldn't need that excuse perk anymore. Feels like when COD slowed down soldiers to warrant lightweight.

Operator looks fine, But I would probably swipe left every Rep upgrade unless Flak jacket became Tier4 right.
The idea of having Delayed trigger taking up an Operator slot is moot, cause Survivalist fills the same purpose.

Mechanic looks ok, But again... I'd rather have Flak jacket than Delayed trigger. Both directions seem viable!

Enforcer looks ok, But Reduced fall could be switched to Fast ready to make deagle/shotguns more responsive.

Professional needs Fast swap way more than Reduced fall, especially as long as that nasty body armor remains.

I would also like to see reduced fall just completely removed. Everyone had a parachute so if you are going to jump over anything, just mash A and the chute opens for a safe landing regardless of the height so it's kind of a moot perk in my opinion.

Maybe have enforcer be: fast throw/increase throw distance

professional could be fast climb/extra magazine so you can either get into position faster or hold your position longer

Replace the extra grenade for enforcer to fast ready. No need for extra grenades since ammo box and breach charges plus helps shotgun people get closer to targets better. Though extremely looking foward to fast reload with a double barrel.

Ty for putting fast repair on anther tier now "mechanics" can finally use a repair tool. Same with operators got tired of no one reviving people.
