Battlefield 3 was an amazing game in multiplayer, great graphics played smoothly and do you know why? Its because they spent three years developing it and they are spending about 1-2 year developing BF4. Their rushing it, EA just wants to get a game on the shelf to sell, we dont want BF4 to be like Black Ops 2 which is basically the same as the first Black Ops, which dont get me wrong was a great game. But we want to be better than the same with a few fixes, We dont want to go downhill with BF4 like MOHW did, we want to progress and im sure few wouldnt mind waiting a little longer to have a game that pleases. And Im Curios what you guys think.

I love the battlefield series and always will but i am in fear for BF4

Nope. BF3 doesn't play smoothly. BF3 should have been like the recent Battlefields.

Nah its like the transition from BC1 to BC2. They just improve on alot of things. The devs know the engine better now so they can give us a better game . BF3 is great, i hope BF4 is better.

Couple things.

1. they probably started developing Bf4 even before they finished Bf3.

2. Even if they started dev'ing it at Bf3's release, they would have spent atleast 2 years developing it. not 1 like you are saying.

developers always start delevoping the sequel before or possibly a month after the release of the previous game. they don't wait for anything.

Uuuh no. If you look at the timeline of BF games, you'd notice that each one has released one or two years after the last.
DICE has more experience with the engine, BF4 will probably be great.
I love BF3, and have complete confidence in DICE. My only concern is that they stop the "themed expansions" thing, as I think that's a cool idea, as it brings a new experience with each expansion.

The OP is stupid as well, Black Ops 2 has many improvements over the first one.

Because, they are becoming greedy money whores who want to profit off the recent influx of COD players and to do this they are pumping out games quickly and they are compromising game play to make it more arcadey and easier for the skill less COD players.

LOL why do you guys create these threads, but dont know what the f*ck they talking about. The reason why they took so long to make this is because they were creatig frostbite 2.0 which is the game engine. Now they "say" they mastered it and fixed all issues that they are recieving from this game. The next game will be on the same engine so all they really gotta do is design maps and a campaign. Other then that just a few tweaks to frostbite 2.0 and there you have the next BF.

To be honest, BF3 seems like it doesn't use the frostbite engine fully.

Three things, OP:
-Battlefield 3 had a 1 1/2 year effective development cycle, and a little over 1 year if you don't count post-gold Frostbite work. Get your facts straight.
-This one is more personal, but I feel that BO2 is vastly improved over BO1. You probably haven't played either for more than a few hours.
-EA rushes all AAA titles they publish. They have done so for many years, and will continue doing so until they are dissolved. Battlefield 3 was not an exception.

Why on earth would you change the multiplier I mean, that'd just be awful if there was any change what so ever. Let's just keep it the same like Call of Duty does. Also nice spelling faggot.

When did he say anything about changing the multiplayer? You Sir, have no idea what you are talking about. And duh? It's a company. What do you think they're doing? Aiming to lose money? No, they are businessmen first - game developers second. Making money comes before making the game, but they're still going to make an amazing game. They live up to the standards set by previous Battlefield games, COD does not. According to many COD players, they've gone downhill since COD 4. Most of the rest say it went downhill after MW2. I think it's gained some ground with BO2, but only because of zombies and a different setting. Battlefield players expect better graphics, audio, and smoother play with each game. DICE does everything they can to keep their old fans, and bring in new ones from other FPS games.
