What a fail. I spend 3 days on trying to get BF3 to run... until I read Olethrios his post, I disabled login verification and the game starts... i tried everything like repairing the game, removing the game and origin, removing all settings folders, fixing windows and reinstalling drivers nothing worked. And now it seems to be an EA/Origin fail?!?!

Confirmed working for me too. I was chatting with a Rep and I turned it off mid-chat and started up BF3 just normal. Told him to report it in to Origin so hopefully we get a fix soon.

Thank you! It's working for me too. I also reported it in origin, in the help menu, you should also do it so they can see it is not an isolated issue.

Also doing the same thing to me... a solution being disable login verification IS NOT A SOLUTION!!!!! This needs to be fixed now!!!

If your game is not launching please help us in gathering more information about your problem. Try the following.

Attach this file to your email

+++ List of tasks from your Tasklist.

Bring up your Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+ESC). Click the Processes tab and sort by Image Name and make sure we can see the entire name of the .exe.

Attach screenshots of your task list to your email. If it takes two screenshots to see the entire list that's fine.

+++ Answer the following questions:

* Please include the user name and email address that you are logging into Origin with.
* Do you have Cloud Saves enabled in Origin (Gear icon > Settings > General tab)?
* Can you launch any other games from Origin (if you have any other Origin game?)
* Can you launch the game from outside of Origin? For example: Run Origin, minimize it, launch BF3 or ME3 from your desktop icon/Windows Start menu icon. Does that work?

What is so difficult to understand. We disable security. Then it works. We enable two step verification and then it doesnt work. It's very simple. Get it fixed. Because this is bull to be honest.

I don't know about any one else, but its been fixed for me as of a few hours ago. My security is on and the game is launching just fine. Hopefully its fixed for other people.

Had this same problem, for some reason the trusted devices under login verification was blank. I had to log out of chrome, and then log back in. After logging back in, it ask for the 6 digit login verification code.

It now displays my browser as a trusted device, and allows the game to launch fine.

This is how I get it to work now.
BF3 AND Origin CLOSED OUT.
Launch BF3 from desktop, Origin will launch, sign in Origin and let BF3 launch signed in. Log out of BF3 and Origin. Re log in to EA, BF3. Go to multi player, servers, join game. At that time on my PC Origin will launch and resign in and game goes. May have to resign in Origin after relog in to EA.
Main thing seems to be to sign out of BF3 and Origin, BOTH. The relog in to EA first.

This all happened after last update AND I downloaded free NeedForSpeed Most Wanted. Ever since came the problem.

Battlefield 3 Problem solved.

I start Battlefield 4 game with Origin i swich with Battlelog Browser to Battlefield 3 Game with selecting server, and Go.

Battlefield 3 Game Works Ok.
