I got the D-load version of BF3,
Dowloaded it last night and woke up this morning to run install and get:

"DirextX Setup Error: The Cabinet (.cab) file is not signed."

So I am unable to instal game at this piont. I tried runnign Origin as admin...but this sounds more like a corrupt D-load eh?

My system:
AMD 1100XT
EVGA Sli 560 TI superclocks
Corsair Extreme 16gigs of ram
800watt PSU

Move the *.cab files from the redist folder and then run the install again

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8109 [microsoft.com] and download. When it asks you where to put the files put the files in "C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\__Installer\directx\redist". After that, retry to further install the game.
If this doesn't work go to C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\__Installer\directx\redist and delete every .cab file. Don't delete the .dll's and .exe.

Thanks so much. Had the problem with Crysis 3 Beta and worked with that too.

Hi Guys,

Much easier fix for the Crysis 3 Beta's landing here, no need for BF3 fans to download anything. Browse to C:\Program Files\Origin Games\BF3\_Installer\ and copy the Direct X Folder to the ..../_Installation folder/ in the Crysis 3 Beta Folder. I ran it manually aswell to be sure it had installed.

Re-Run Crysis 3 Install. It should now finish.

HI, I solved it.....
what you need to do is delete all the files (winrar) from __Installer\directx\redist , so in the folder will remain just directx setup , dsetup.dll and destup32.dll
This worked for me, so I hope it will work for you..
