So while I was using 310.70 nvidia drivers, I didn't get the yellow roads right away. I even updated to 314.07, and it was still there. As I was looking around for a way to solve this issue, I've read that this issue was going on for quite awhile. Then on the nvidia website, I read that it was due to a windows update. Right there it clicked in my head, it started happening when I decided to use Windows Basic Theme instead of Aero theme (to get the most out of my computer). So I switched back to Aero Themed, relaunched, and boom, fixed. As simple fix, and a very stupid issue.

this will help !!!!!
For desktop PCs:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features
Click on "View installed updates" on top left side
Scroll down to "Microsoft Windows (189 or 190)" section
Find "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2670838?)" and right click on it and then click on uninstall
Thanks for the Tip -- After a short break from BF3, I logged back in and there the yellow roads were -- but so far with that windows update uninstalled, the roads don't look like they've been raped by a yellow high lighter.
Just tested this...
thanks for the tip it really works well done guys
Thanks for the post worked for me too.

I just wanted to share my experience with the issue.
After removing (KB2670838) update i didn't find a plugin softwares that I usually use on IE, So I re-installed DX11 and restarted my PC and suddenly i found my IE plugin softwares without having (KB2670838) update installed on my PC.
