BFHQ.se started out as BF2.se in November 2004. Founded by David (daax), left due to lack of time, and Gustav Halling (cmd) whom got offered a job at DICE in December 2006 and left the site in the hands of the rest of us. The people who run the site today have been working there since late 2004, early 2005.

Between 2004 and 2009 we had opened serveral new sites. Quakewars.se, BF2142.se, BFHeroes.se, SC2.se & Speltorrents.se - all of which, except speltorrents.se, we decided to close down in March 2009 and merge the Battlefield sites to one, BFHQ.se.

In January 2006 we reached the first milestone, 10 000 users. At this point we had about 5000 unique visitors and several hundreds of new members each day. A year and a half we had 30 000 users. We have about 45 000 users today and about 1000 unique visitors each day.
