Platoon Presentation
Since starting my Battlefield career i have been apart of many different platoons and groups. Some have disbanded and some have lost teammates due to the appeal elsewhere. So i have decided to start my own platoon for those who can perform at a top level no matter the circumstances. A platoon where flashy appeal holds no weight in our success. Teamwork and communication are a must in order to succeed. This will play a large role of being a member of this team.
This platoon is based on performance, and not just a K/D ratio...or pure points ratio... but more so how well they balance themselves out. I'm looking for advanced players of all skills. There is no promise of a website...or even a fancy emblem here...this is about achieving the goals because of no other reason than we want to. If anyone thinks they have the drive and ability to succeed and carry the SEAL name proficiently throughout your battlefield career, apply to join. I have a profound amount of respect for our Navy Seals and the things they do that go unheard.
During my tours overseas, i had the chance enjoy a meal with a few members of this elite group of people. I was amazed at how common and regular they all seemed. At first, i was almost a bit dissapointed with how plain my experience was. But after a few minutes of being in their company i realized what made them who they were. Being a SEAL wasnt about being cool or having the best stories to tell. It was about their team and all the other men and women over there that they would never even meet. In so many ways they were just like us. They were covered in dirt and mud, unshaven and missing loved ones just as we were. Mostly, it was the respect they had for all of us for just being over there that stood out most to me. Their actions in combat made them almost larger than life. For them, their was no ego, no bragging...just the mission and the completion that follows. That is what this team is and will always be based on.
Our platoon crest is nothing exuberant, its not shiny or loud, and it does not need attention. Perhaps that is what makes it unique... as it will always have something to prove much like a Navy Seal.
