In 1777 Vermont stood as it's own sovereign country amongst the newly formed United States. It remained that way until 1791 when Vermont was signed into the United States. Before there was a military force known as the VT Republican Army, in the new age that force will stand when Vermont claims it's independence again. And when it does, it shall be known as the 2nd Vermont Republican Army.
