Just a quick note that the next PC game update will arrive Dec 3. Among other things, it removes the EMP blur effect we’ve seen your feedback on, as well as the “one-shot kill bug” and the audio issue prevalent on Golmud Railway and Lancang Dam.

As usual, you can always find out the latest on upcoming and released game updates and server updates in the Battlefield 4 Control Room.

PS4 will also get a game update on Dec 3, detailed in the Control Room in this post. We are also finalizing the next game updates for X360, PS3, and Xbox One, but we don’t have set dates for those just yet. It is looking likely that some of those will be ready at the end of this week at the earliest. We will have more details on the dates and contents of these soon.

Join in on the full week of Double XP that just started in Battlefield 4! Starting Nov 28 and running up until Dec 5, you will get Double XP for all matches played on Ranked and Official servers. Join us on the Battlefield now to rank up faster.

We’ve now launched Battlefield 4 on five platforms (with Europe getting the game this weekend on PS4.) Like always, we are committed to support the game for a long time, and we have already made a number of updates to the servers and the game. For example, we recently rolled out a new game update to PS4 players.

We continue to work hard to further increase the stability of Battlefield 4, and if you have yet to hear about our Battlefield 4 Player Appreciation program head here [battlelog.battlefield.com] for all the info, including Double XP for all Battlefield 4 players between Nov. 28 – Dec. 5. Seeing as this now overlaps with a previously planned Double XP weekend for Battlefield 4 Premium players, we are moving back the exclusive Double XP event for Premium members to the weekend of Dec. 7.

This way, all players can take part in the Player Appreciation 2XP event, while Premium members [battlelog.battlefield.com] still will get an exclusive 2XP weekend. We will get back to you with exact start and end times for these.

A: You can select specific servers to join through the Battlelog app. Simply go into Multiplayer, select a server, and join using the “Commander” button. This will automatically launch the Commander app and join the server.

Q: Does the app work over 3G?
A: Yes.
