Break Pointe: A Driver’s Paradise
What could be more classically California than a long drive down the sun-drenched coast, convertible top down, with your favorite tunes blasting from the radio? And what could be more classically Battlefield™ Hardline than taking that same idyllic drive, adding an LMG or an assault rifle, packing your car with squadmates, and steering straight through the smoldering remains of a criminal-controlled restaurant? If that’s your idea of California dreamin’, then welcome to Break Pointe, one of the maps coming in Battlefield Hardline: Robbery*.
Break Pointe is a driver’s paradise. Situated on a stretch of highway along the scenic California coast, this enormous daytime map features a ton of terrain to drive on, over, under, and through. In addition to the pristine roads, there are rivers, gulleys, and canyons for a little off-road exploration. Drivers can also burn rubber through dusty homes, across pristine backyards, and around (and in) a chic hotel and industrial substation.
The focal point of the map is Big Eddie’s restaurant, a functional 4-star establishment fronting a class-5 felony drug smuggling operation. The restaurant has a ton of places from where an enterprising thief can launch a sneak attack, including a dank sewer drain that leads to a secret entrance in Big Eddie’s cavernous wine cellar.
With its emphasis on driving, it’s no surprise that Break Pointe is an absolute blast in Hotwire mode, but its variety of terrain and getaway options makes Blood Money mode a really popular choice with the Visceral team. This map supports all of Battlefield Hardline’s game modes, including Squad Heist, the tactical new mode that’s available in Robbery.
We made sure that Break Pointe is balanced for all classes, so whether you’re cruising around the coast as a Mechanic or taking shots from the grassy foothills as a Professional, we hope you have fun with this map. Let us know what you think of Break Pointe when it launches this fall!

New Weapons, Gadgets, and Vehicles in Battlefield Hardline: Robbery
When you load up Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery*, you’re going to find a slew of toys to play with, including new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles.
While Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity’s story focused on small time crime jobs, this expansion is all about the big score. The weapons and gadgets included are great for all of the maps and modes you’re used to, but even better for the new Squad Heist game mode. There are also some new tools for the Operator class, making it easier to support your team with heals and suppression.
NEW GADGETS
CS GAS LAUNCHER
The CS GAS Launcher is for cop and criminal Operators, and has the ability to launch CS Gas as a projectile. This gas has the same effect as the gas grenade, but with the launcher, it can be shot further (and it takes up a Gadget slot, instead of a Grenade slot). Its primary use is to suppress an area full of enemies – it causes double damage and blurred vision to any one not wearing a gas mask or in a vehicle that can prevent the affect.
VEHICLE PASSENGER HEALING
It’s a classic heist movie scene – you jump in a car and look at your allies, riddled with bullets. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just… heal ‘em? This Operator passive ability lets you do just that. It’s similar to a First Aid Pack, but only for passengers in a vehicle with the Operator. This is great for any vehicle-focused modes, especially Hotwire.
NEW WEAPONS
New Assault Rifle for the Criminal’s Operator Class
A new Assault Rifle with a sci-fi look is showing up for the criminal’s Operator class. This new bullpup rifle is great at medium range and will be a favorite addition to any criminal’s arsenal. It fires a classic NATO round that is 5.56mm x 45mm that provides great accuracy and damage. This rifle will help the criminals get their loot and send those pesky cops running.
MDC
A cutting edge Assault Rifle just landed in the arsenal of the cop’s Operator class. This new bullpup rifle can lay down the law and send the criminals packing. This rifle fires a 7.62mm x 39mm round that will stop any criminal is their tracks. It has a good amount of recoil, but the stopping power makes up for it.
Another New Assault Rifle for the Criminal’s Operator Class
This classic Assault Rifle for the criminal Operator class fires a 7.62mm x 39mm cartridge – this give it a lot of recoil, so the rate for fire has been slowed. However, this bad boy has a fifty round drum mag, which provides a sizeable amount of lead the criminals can put down range.
THROWING KNIFE
This deadly projectile uses the grenade slot on the user’s kit, but it’s a good trade-off. The Throwing Knife can eliminate an enemy quickly and quietly. This balanced blade has limited range, but has deadly results. It’s a one-hit-kill, no matter where it lands, so try sneaking up and getting close to your target before letting it fly.
NEW VEHICLES
FACTION PICKUP TRUCK
For when you absolutely, positively need to drive off-road, these new Pickup Trucks in Robbery will give you the horsepower to do just that. Each faction gets its own, from the rough and tumble criminal model (complete with a roll cage) to the more traditional cop version (decked out with the flashing lights you’d expect from a police vehicle), the Faction Pickup Trucks have plenty of room for you and your buddies.
SCOUT HELICOPTER
Getting from point A to point B has never been more convenient, especially if point B is the top of a building. The Scout Helicopter may not have any guns, but the doors are more than large enough to let your buddies hang outside with their own weapons and rain down hell from above.

Oakland Port: A Criminal Playground
The air blanketing the Oakland Port is heavy and damp with midnight fog. Dock workers and crewman have clocked out for the night, and cargo-laden super freighters from all over the world are tied securely to their berths.
But for the biggest ship in port, the Nebuchadnezzar, being tied securely is no measure of safety. A motivated gang of thieves is looking to score a bounty by stealing the ship’s manifest, and disrupt the Nebuchadnezzar’s alleged smuggling of illicit goods. The cops are lying in wait, hoping to catch the crooks in the act, but whose side are they really on? Find out the truth when you play The Docks, one of four new maps featured in Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery.
The sprawling Oakland Port and a multi-story cargo ship are your criminal playground in The Docks. This night map offers a generous mix of open outdoor space and claustrophobic interiors. Scale to great heights and snipe from atop a crane, or hijack a scout helicopter and rain down justice from above. Makeshift towers of cargo crates give infantry plenty of places to hide, but beware – they can be toppled and reduced to a twisted mess of metal and debris with one carefully placed bullet. New pathways are created each time a container falls, which will keep both factions on their toes as they attempt to make (or break) the big score aboard the Nebuchadnezzar.
In Squad Heist mode, the action takes place entirely within this cavernous ship – but this map supports all modes, including traditional Heist and Hotwire, so expect plenty of fast-paced action when this map launches in September. The Visceral team can’t wait for you to play The Docks – let us know what you think!

Become Legendary in Battlefield Hardline
Want to become truly legen – wait for it – dary? Soon you’ll be able to. The Legendary Super Feature gives you the opportunity to become one of the truly elite Battlefield Hardline players. Show off how bad-ass you are, and how committed you are to the Battlefield™ Hardline multiplayer mode – only those willing to put in the effort will receive the rewards of becoming Legendary (Battlefield Hardline Super Features are available both with Battlefield Hardline Premium, and as part of the individual Expansion Packs they’re released with).
On becoming Legendary, you’ll reset progress on all of your unlocks, including weapons, gadgets, and attachments – even those earned from Battlepacks. However, some items remain untouched such as earned vanity items like emblems, patches, camos, unopened Battlepacks, and weapons received from pre-order bonuses and shortcut kits. In return, you will get a way to show off your epic status on your Killcard, as well as the scoreboard that displays during the match or at the end of each round. In the interest of fair play (not everyone is able to commit to the same amount of play time), Legendary’s benefits are mostly cosmetic, but there’s no better way to show that you’re a Battlefield Hardline expert.
There are 15 levels of Legendary to earn with potentially hundreds of hours of playtime to get them all. To help you out with your in-game cash earning potential, you’ll receive a slight boost to all cash earned in your Legendary ranks, meaning that each new rank gets you slightly more cash (but not much).
Good luck out there! Do you think you’ll be the first player to reach full Legendary status? Let’s see how many of you actually achieve Legendary!
