The night guards are surprisingly absent at the Turing Natural History Museum. Were they tipped off? Bribed? Regardless of why they disappeared, the Turing’s legendary Blue Diamond is sitting unprotected – a tantalizing target for daring jewel thieves. How will they break in and make off with this priceless artifact? Have their ranks been infiltrated and their plan uncovered by the police?

The answers to these questions will be revealed in Museum, one of four new maps featured in Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery.

Museum is the first 100% indoors map for Battlefield Hardline. The various wings and floors of the Turing Natural History Museum make this setting a perfect infantry map. (Make sure to equip your shotgun and riot shield!) Among the exhibits are a collection of Egyptian relics, a planetarium with a suspended model of the solar system, and the requisite ensemble of Tyrannosaurus, Brontosaurus, and Utah Raptor skeletons. As should be expected, micro-destruction reigns supreme in this map, as do any gadgets that can take advantage of close quarters and tight hallways.

One of the goals of Museum is to give Battlefield Hardline players an ideal map to experiment with the new 5v5 game mode, Squad Heist. With multiple ways to pull off the Blue Diamond heist (and subsequent escape to safety), this map is the perfect playground to sharpen your tactical skills.

In playtests at Visceral, the Rescue and Hostage game modes have also been exceptionally popular on this map. So get your ticket punched for entry to the Museum, and let us know what you think of the map when it launches this September!

After getting organized in Battlefield™ Hardline: Criminal Activity, the top gangs are drawing up plans, stockpiling gear, and risking it all to pull off the boldest, craziest heists ever in Battlefield Hardline: Robbery, the second expansion pack for Battlefield Hardline.

The theme of this pack is the Big Score: how to steal it, or how to stop it. The new maps and game mode in Battlefield Hardline: Robbery are designed to let criminal teams plan and execute the perfect heist; or, for law enforcement, to get the crooks in cuffs before they can pull it off.

Whether it’s boosting jewels, double-crossing an international smuggling ring, or extracting a high-value piece of intel from a precinct locker room, teams on both sides of the law will have to pull together to make (or break) these epic heists.

Here’s what’s on deck in Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery…

• Four expansive maps: The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7

We also want to talk a bit about Squad Heist, the new game mode coming in Battlefield Hardline: Robbery. Squad Heist feels refreshing and familiar. Built as an homage to the beloved Squad Rush in Battlefield 4, this mode combines the combat of Battlefield with the intimate fantasy of a classic heist.

The mode has three distinct stages:

1. Criminals take a Drill, break into Vault 1, and grab the Loot from the vault.
2. Criminals take a Drill, break into Vault 2, and grab the Loot from the vault.
3. Criminals run to an escape location, call a helicopter, and get the loot to safety.

Obviously, this will all be themed to the map. You might have to take the Glass Cutter (Drill) and steal the Blue Diamond (Loot) from the Display Case (Vault) – but the basic idea stays the same. At each stage, criminals get 25 deploy tickets. If those tickets are all lost, the cops win the match.

Squad Heist was a blast to develop, and we think it goes well with the new gadgets, weapons, and maps in Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery. Playing it every day, it really feels like we’ve found something special. We hope you agree and join us on the Battlefield!
