Platoon-Präsentation

Marine Simulation Unit (MSU) is a Military Simulation team that utilizes the Tactics, Rank structure, And Command system of the United States Marine Corps.

Requirements to join include:
Must have a mic
Must have some level of maturity and self-discipline
Must be willing to follow orders
Must be willing to be a teamplayer
Must be 16 years of age or older

Once you apply to join you must complete Recruit Training (RT) Afterwards you will be required to attend your selected MOS training.

Once you have passed RT you will be given a rank. those who show leadership skills may find themselves in a position of leadership.

MSU Rank System is as follows:

Private. (The private is fresh from RT and will have no leadership responsibilities whatsoever he will do what he is ordered to do when he is ordered to do so)

Private First Class-PFC. Earned after 2 weeks service within MSU. (The PFC will once again have no leadership responsibilities however he will be held to a higher esteem than a Private)

Lance Corporal-LCPL (The lance Corporal will be the first time an MSU member receives responsibility he may be called upon to lead a two man team or be in command of a defensive position)

Corporal-CPL. Given after 6 weeks of service within MSU as long as the potential candidate shows some skill regarding leadership. (The corporal is the first NCO rank within MSU a Corporal is usually called upon to lead a four man fireteam the rank of Corporal requires some leadership skills and it is not just tossed around)

Sergeant-Sgt. Given after 8 weeks of service within MSU and at least 3 weeks at the rank of corporal. (The sergeant has major responsibilities he will often become the leader of an 8 man squad or he may become a drill instructor in his chosen MOS or RT)

Staff Sergeant-SSgt. given after 8 weeks of service within MSU and at least 4 weeks at the rank of sergeant. (The staff sergeant has great responsibilities he is often a Platoon Sergeant becoming second in command for a 12 man Platoon or he may become a drill instructor in his chosen MOS or RT)

Gunnery Sergeant-GySgt. given after 10 weeks of service within MSU and at least 5 weeks at the rank of Staff Sergeant. (The gunnery Sergeant has immense responsibilities he is most often a Platoon Sergeant a Senior Enlisted Advisor or a Drill Instructor in his chosen MOS or RT)

Master Sergeant-MSgt. given after 12 weeks of service within MSU and at least 5 weeks at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. (The Master Sergeant has very great responsibilities he is often a Senior Enlisted Advisor or Drill Instructor in his given MOS or RT)

After attaining the rank of Master Sergeant and becoming eligible for promotion the candidate will choose one of two paths regarding further promotion and their role in MSU they may choose to become a 1st Sergeant which is considered field leadership or they may choose to become a Master Gunnery Sergeant entering the field of logistics and training.

1st Sergeant-1stSgt chosen after 14 weeks of service within MSU and at least 6 weeks at the rank of Master Sergeant (The first Sergeant has immense field leadership responsibilities he will often become the second in command for a battalion serving alongside a Captain)

Master Gunnery Sergeant-MGySgt chosen after 14 weeks of service within MSU and at least 6 weeks at the rank of Master Sergeant. (The Master Gunnery Sergeant also has immense responsibilities in the field of logistics he will often become a Drill Instructor in any given MOS or RT he may also become a Drill Instructor in any given vehicle school)

Sergeant Major-SgtMaj. given after 16 weeks service within MSU and at least 7 weeks at the rank of 1st Sergeant or Master Gunnery Sergeant. (The sergeant major has the greatest of responsibilities within the Enlisted rank structure he will often become second in command within a Regiment or a master Drill Instructor within many MOS`s or RT as well as Vehicle schools)

OFFICER RANKS

Second Lieutenant-2ndLt. given after candidate completes Officer Candidate School (OCS) (The Second Lieutenant is the lowest of all the Officer ranks however he has great responsibilities he will often become a Platoon Leader (PL) working alongside a Staff Sergeant or Gunnery Sergeant)

First Lieutenant-1stLt. given after 5 weeks of service within MSU and at least 5 weeks at the rank of Second Lieutenant. (The First Lieutenant has great responsibilities he will often become a Platoon Leader or he may become a Drill Instructor in OCS)

Captain-Cpt. given after 8 weeks of service within MSU and at least 6 weeks at the rank of First Lieutenant (The captain has immense responsibilities he will often become Commander of a Battalion serving alongside a 1st Sergeant)

Major-Maj. given after 10 weeks of service within MSU and at least 7 weeks at the rank of Captain. (The Major has immense responsibilities he will often become Commander of a Regiment serving alongside a Sergeant Major)

Lieutenant Colonel-LtCol. chosen by the commander of MSU. (The Lieutenant Colonel is Second in Command of MSU and will lead MSU when The Colonel is unavailable)

Colonel-Col. The Lieutenant Colonel will become Colonel if the current Colonel departs MSU. (The Colonel is the commander of MSU and controls all actions, operations, and movements that MSU makes)
