This platoon was formed for the community match vs Reddit in September of 2012. We didn't know each other back then, and none of us had any experience playing in or organizing such a thing.

In retrospect we should have had a practice or two, as we got beat, since Reddit came very prepared and had many players who had played Battlefield competitively before.

But we got to know each other and became friends, and this platoon mostly remains as a way for us to stay in touch.

A few months later about 10 core members of this group formed "Team Symthic" which has been very active and successful since, remaining undefeated in 32s in BF3 and BF4.
