Platoon Presentation

This is the platoon for Old Reliables in the Squad DeathMatch tourney.

Contact No 1: Jack0-H-

Contact No 2: craven_buzzkill

Contact No 3: k_maffia

Player No 4: GTCR

Player No 5: SteFrez

Player No 6: ChrisFreer4

From this point, you will need to copy and paste the whole of the presentation from the BBB tourney wall. This will insure that only 3 contacts from each clan join the BBB platoon and the rest of the players from that clan will join your version of this clan so that they can keep up to date with any and all goings on. Anything to do with the tourney will be sorted out on the main BBB platoon or on the clans versions of said platoon. If you have any questions about this page, talk to k_maffia and anything about the whole of the tourney, talk to Jack0-H-, craven_buzzkill or k_maffia.

The IFV (LAV/BMP) in SQDM will be removed from the games. In the event one somehow gets through (e.g. poor map setup), its use will be considered a breach of rules; the team that does so will automatically have its kills in that map set to 0 and be relegated to last place in the match.

No "friend of mine", non-platoon substitutions in the platoon match squads on match day. You got to play people in your platoon - no inviting in any col100 buddies at the last minute, who aren't part of the clan (even if they change dog tags for the game.) And no bringing them into the platoon on match day, then letting them leave once the game's done.

If you hire a new player after the tournament gets going, you are more than welcome to play the guy, provided he/she is not a pro player looking to get tournament wins. For simplicities’ sake, if you hire a new platoon member with a KDR of over 2, post the player's profile here and get your group mates to agree whether or not the new player should be allowed to play.

Please post match day squads plus two subs up to 4 hours before games are due to commence, to avoid disagreement. This is not a rule, but a request - no penalties for not doing so, but it means you get to clear the air about whether players are eligible or not before the match, in a calm atmosphere, rather than after the match, in a 100+ post slag fest.

Any platoon participating in BloodBath Bash [TM] is allowed to field more than 1 team. HOWEVER, in the event this is done, the clan must name both its competitive teams' members, and avoid any players playing in both teams.

No Shotgun, No C4, no Claymore, no AT Mines. No Xbow. No M320 (bar smoke). No M26 MASS. No RPG, or stigla (...I know...) No MAV or EoD bots. No guns that are known to be glitched (none currently noted as glitched.)

Get out of that wall, soldier.

Each Group stage is played as 2 sets of 3 maps. The top two teams from each group will procede to the next stage. The winner of the final BloodBath group will be the tournament winner.

The overall team placement in the group will be done on total kill count/tickets won.

In the event two teams are tied on kill count over 6 games/maps, the final positions in each game/map will be scored F1-style and added up as a tie-breaker. Scoring will be: 10 points for 1st place; 6 points for 2nd; 3 points for 3rd.

Games must be done in a competitive server, and game results posted here. Alternatively, BF3 "games" may be arranged through Battlelog, and again, their results posted here. In the event of a dispute, the tie's match reports will be reviewed by moderators to determine an outcome.

Playing ineligible players (according to "NO NON-PLATOON SUBS") or using banned weaponry (even without fatalities, according to "BANNED GUNS") in a game of a match leads to that game being forfeited to the opposition. The next game in the match continues as normal.

INTENTIONAL TEAM DROP-OUTS are a forfeit of any remaining games, with the score being set to a win to the opposition for the remaining games.

If, during a game, a player from one team drops out mid-way through a round, that round should be played to completion with the players available. If a player(s) is still missing at the start of the next round, the round is put on hold until the other team can bring itself back to 4 members (drop-out re-joins or backup joins). If, after 5 minutes, the "small" team is still incomplete, then proceed to play the game as normal. A team will also be considered incomplete if, for whatever reason, it has 3 members and a random that just joined in (so 4 members, 3 from the platoon and 1 random.)

Kill cams should be on - since that's the default for servers, and the way that people are used to playing - but can be disengaged by mutual consent. Note, if clans agree to turn the kill cams off, stick a note on the issue on one of the clan leader's pages, or in here, and get the other clan leader to acknowledge it, to avoid misunderstandings.

If you arrange, accept, and miss a game, your team loses by default.

Teams must arrange beforehand which server they will use to play (not a rule, just common sense.)
