Ready for some more play with dev today? This time we’re playing Battlefield 3 on PlayStation 3.

Today is your chance to play with members from DICE — or to grab one of the highly coveted DICE DEV dog tags from us if you’re on the opposing team. Members from DICE will be playing on three specific PS3 servers today so the possibility to catch us should be excellent.

This DICE dog tag event is for Premium members only, full details below. Have fun, and hope to see you online!

Last weekend, we ran a massively popular Battlefield 3™ Double XP event. This weekend, we are happy to offer all Battlefield 3™ Premium members their first of many exclusive Double XP events!

Join the fun this weekend. If you're a Premium member, you'll earn double XP Saturday and Sunday.

This means that everyone who is a Premium member will get double XP the entire upcoming weekend. Like before, this is valid across all maps and modes, as long as you play on ranked servers. The full details are listed below, so check out the exact timings and mark your calendars for a full weekend of faster ranking-up.

Join our double XP event this weekend to get double score on any map and mode.

Here’s a great chance to rank up faster and have great fun while doing it. This weekend, we are running a new double XP event for everyone! On June 16-17, your sum total for every round will be effectively doubled, visible at the End of Round screen. This applies to any map and any mode, as long as you play on a ranked server.

You can see the full details of this event below. Basically, play Saturday and Sunday to rank up faster! And if you’re a Battlefield 3 Premium member, you already have access to the Close Quarters expansion pack and get double XP on those maps as well.

Today, the latest expansion pack Close Quarters is available to download and play if you own Battlefield 3 Premium – that’s two weeks early access exclusively for Premium members.

Close Quarters will go on general sale June 19 for PlayStation 3 and June 26 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but is included together with the four other expansion packs in Battlefield 3 Premium. Check out the launch trailer for Close Quarters below.
