The Clans History
The 1st Tactical Assault Group were originally created as Call of Duty 4 Clan. Their mission was to experiment with real world military tactics in an FPS Game.
Over time the clan developed tactics and training methods that enhanced it's members abilities to communicate in game more effectively and work together as a team, covering each other as they moved around the various maps as a single unit.
This of course wasn't always successful, being hindered by the random spawn points and lack of a definitive front-line but on the whole, 1st TAG would generally prevail and win the day.

Unfortunately due to the real life commitments of many of it's senior members 1st TAG had to go into hibernation for well over a year and it's membership dispersed.
On the 17th April 2010, The 1st Tactical Assault Group was re-activated. The clan re-built it's membership and developed new tactics and strategies for BFBC2.
To date, [1st-TAG] have successfully recruited a sizeable multi-national team of like minded players who understand the importance of team work and enjoy deploying and developing tactical gaming.
[1st-TAG] members range from 16 to 50+ with many members being afiliated with or prior members of the armed services.
Many of the members have years of experience in gaming clans and much to offer in the way of IT skills and computer hardware knowledge.

Through a process of training nights, tactical discussion and research [1st-TAG] developed strategies and a deeper understanding of BC2 and it's various characteristics that enabled it to take its gaming to a whole new level.
With the release of BF3, [1st-TAG] are now developing new tactics, creating tactical maps and researching all aspects of the game to an even greater level than they did in BC2.
[1st-TAG] members do not concern themselves with stats or medals. They are more concerned with trying to make sure their team wins irrispective of the cost to their kill to death ratios or stats.
[1st-TAG]'s motto is "Nvllo Secvndvs" which translated from latin means "Second to None!"
