We are in the midst of the Korean War - deaths and injuries are common, and the futility of war wears down the stamina of all involved. But in the MASH 4077, a camp, where surgeons, nurses and sisters fighting for the lives of the wounded, one defies all odds (including, among others, the meals are) with heart, humor and a considerable portion of sarcasm. This series, with its strong characters - most notably Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce - stuck in a genre is impossible.
