In the next few weeks, I will be getting the equipment to create a "movie" of sorts put together using gameplay footage from Battlefield 3. If anybody is interested in partaking in this let me know. I'm going to need 17 people for the following roles. (Brief Description Included)

Map: Operation Firestorm

Story line:

SCENE ONE

The American Squad has been tasked with the challenge of rescuing a captured journalist whose armored convoy was ambushed and destroyed by a Russian Patrol. (This will be depicted in the opening scene, with all three Abrams tanks plus the jeep rolling down the MSR on Op Firestorm. To depict a "larger force", all of the Russian roles will be played as engineers, to allow use of the
RPGs on the tanks. The first tank will run over a series of mines, mocking IEDs, and the ambush will start.)

SCENE TWO

The movie will then cut to the Americans flying over the mountain in the Huey Gunship (timed to the song "Fortunate Son" by CCR) During this time, the US Squad Leader will be briefing the American Unit on the mission objective of rescuing the hostage. The chopper will then begin to pepper the LZ with machine gun fire (The LZ being east of the A flag building between the storage crates and the rocky outcrop east of the the crates) Below, the Russians will be seen falling back into the under construction builing just west of the crates. This will continue for about 15 seconds. Once the LZ is cleared, the chopper will bring itself down like it is about to drop its crew. However, a Russian RPG will hit the Huey, disabling it. The four infantry will bail out, but the chopper pilot doesnt quite make it, and the chopper crashes and explodes. (Lots of yelling will be heard as the Americans are scrambling for cover, somebody will be heard confirming the death of the pilot. Gunfire will be exchanged between the two sides) After around 20 more seconds of exchanged gunfire (and the death of one of the Russian Rifleman), the American Infantry will move forward towards the crates (at the Squad Leaders orders) The two sides will be exchanging gunfire as the movement happens. Once the Americans reach the crates, there is a slight cease fire, as both sides entrench for a potential long hual ( At this time, the camera will be cutting back and forth between the two sides, and comotion and shouting will be heard as the two sides find cover. Then almost as suddenly as it ended, the firefight erupts again. 30 more seconds go by until the American Support player calls for a tank column to move forward on the Russians. More fire will be exchanged as the tanks will be seen moving down the mountainside towards the building. At this time, the tanks will open fire on the building, killing a few Russians. The surviving Russians will proceed to move into the A objective building (At the Colonels orders), and the Americans will move into the building just across the street (at the Squad Leaders Orders, still exchanging gunfire. The tanks will fall into retreat as the Russian planes will begin to attack them. (This will be stated by the lead tank driver.)

SCENE THREE

The two sides, now at the widows of their respective buildings, will begin exchanging heavy amounts of gunfire...and an RPG will be fired by the Russian Engineer straight at the Americans. The Americans, seeing this coming, dive for cover behind them. With the building open, furious amounts of gunfire can be heard, with the rounds tearing apart the office found on the top floor. A group of Russians will be seen advancing toward the building, as the gunfire ceases....Not one Russian knowing whether or not the Americans have been killed. (They will be seen cautiously approaching the building). Out of nowhere, gunfire comes from the gaping hole in the building, and the Russians are cut down. Alarmed, the Russians run into the "killing field" between A and B. The Americans will proceed into the closest upper red room to the killing field. (I will demonstrate later). The Support Player will be seen placing C4 on the wall, and blowing it out, in order to provide a way to view the Russians. However, this much commotion attracts the attention of the Russians, cheifly the sniper who is sitting on the building to the NE of the B Flag, on the closest corner. The Sniper takes aim, and fires, hitting the American Squad Leader in the chest twice, dropping him to the ground. The American Medic revives the Leader, and the rest of the unit provide cover fire for the Leader, who crawls behind the wall. At this time, the rest of the Russians return fire...knowing that they have dealt a heavy blow. The Americans retreat behind the wall, the Support player throwing down C4, prepares for the ultimate sacrifice, should the Russians charge. (Alot of screaming and confusion will be heard from the Americans). Once behind the wall, the dying Squad Leader will state he cant go on, and passes command to the American Medic...who reluctantly accepts the duty. Then the Squad Leader dies (committing suicide in the game menu). There is a moment of silence, but it doesnt last long, because a window breaking on the building alerts the Americans. They all jump the railing, as 5 Russians enter the room. The Support player detonates the C4, killing the first four who entered the room. The final Russian, trying to make a break down the stairs, is assassinated by the American Engineer.

SCENE FOUR

The Russians, now confused by the loss of there commrades, fall back into the building housing the American Hostage. They will be seen taking up defensive positions, and then the camera will cut to the Russian Jets being once again scrambled off of the runway. The American Support radios for Tank Support again, and confirms the death of the unit's leader. When asked for the location that the tanks need to go, the Support player responds, asking the tanks to travel due south, past the compound, and proceed west to the oil rigs south of the C flag. (it wont be called C flag). The tank commander acknowleges, and the Americans begin there final push. They pass through the killing field, and observe as a few Russians are placed in the killing zone between C and B. The American Medic proceeds to take out the sniper, and the Squad pushes forward...
Before fully moving forward, the American Engineer climbs to the top of the building where the Russian Sniper sat, and picks up his rifle, and proceeds to climb down, and regroups with the Squad in the B flag objective building. At this point, the Russian jets can be seen flying over the area, surveying for potential targets. The American Medic then proceeds to radio the Tank Commander, requesting his location. (By this time, the tanks should be getting close to the oil rigs, however, it will be said that they are 5 minutes out. The tanks will hide behind the oil rigs until the time comes for them to emerge.) The Medic then states that its "go time", and they proceed set up to attack the remaining Russians, which have set up on the killing field. However, just as the Americans are ready to attack, the Russians can be seen retreating back to the building...for almost no reason. However, the American Engineer looks up just in time to see the strafing Flankers, who begin to hit the closest building with rocket pods and minigun fire. The Americans proceed to dive back into the building until the jets are passed...

SCENE FIVE

With the jets gone, the team proceeds to move up, and position themselves south of the target building. At the Medics orders, the support player moves up to place C4 on the wall. However, just as he stands up, he is shot several times in the chest by one of the Russians...and he drops to the ground. The American Medic revives him, and gives him a health pack, but he states he is to wounded to be combat effective. The Engineer radios for the tanks, who say they are running into some issues. Just as this transmission goes through, the Medic looks up, and sees the entire Russian force walking in a straight line straight at them. He opens fire, causing the entire patrol to take cover in the ditch. The two sides exchange heavy gunfire, and yet again, chaos echos over the landscape. The Russians again raise up from the ditch, and start pushing forward on the reloading Americans. Just as all hope is lost, the tank colum arrives, releasing a barrage of canon fire onto the now frightened Russians. Another Huey also comes into view, just off of the road, with the tanks passing directly underneath it. While this is happening, the American Support manages to crawl to the Huey and get in. The Russians run in fear, some being killed by tank and gunfire. The Two Healthy Americans breach and clear the building and secure the hostage, and begin their run to the chopper. 20 feet away from the chopper, another sniper hits the American Engineer, and he goes down. The medic revives him...but 3 Russians begin to approach fast. The Engineer looks up at the Medic, and simply says go. The Medic nods, and enters the chopper with the Hostage, and the Huey takes off. The camera then cuts back to the Engineer, who has already returned fire on the Russians. He runs out of ammo, and switches to his pistol and takes aim at the Russians, who have come out of cover, and are walking towards him, pistols drawn. The first Russian attempts to fire, but has no ammo. The Engineer shoots him in the head, and the same goes for the next. It then cuts to a panned view of the two remaining soldiers, standing less than 5 feet from another. The camera will then cut to open space near the objective, with both soldiers out of view. A gunshot is heard, and the film ends....
