SHTI is an acronym for Syarikat Hindia Timur Inggeris, the Malay translation of the British East India Company, a company concerned with the trade of silks, dyes, salts and cotton, as well as consumables like opium and tea. We chose the Malay translation as one of our members, Markkoh, is Malaysian. CNUT, of course references the Great King Cnut of Denmark, and ANONYMOUS references the modern ideological movement and organisation, represented by the Guy Fawkes Mask.
