    Last week,our beloved Friend and Brother in gaming and real life,Shellback, was gone from this World,after a short ,but intensive Period of sickness.
    I´m sadly thinking back in time,when we were started gaming Battlefield 2,and all other of that Gaming Series,and proudly about ,having lots of big Fun,playing together for a long time.
    He will always stay in my mind as a true an loyal Friend, and in my Heart, as a friendly and
    true,loyal Brother.
    Please give him the Respect and Power,mastering his last way,wherever he´s gone.

    I never knew this individual, just happened across here through browsing various things on Battlelog, but as a veteran myself nothing is more incredible to me, nothing more special than someone that continues to provide the kind of support this man obviously did to both those he used to serve beside and those like me who never got the honor. I'm sorry I missed the chance to meet the man myself, but it makes me happy to know he had a family here just as strong as he had while in the service and as a result I want to thank all of you as well. That having been said, I want to wish you guys a good night, good luck and a good games.

    I have just found out about this unfortunate news after looking into his profiles as I wanted to catch up with him after my long disconnection with some friends and I am extremely sad to hear this. To me he was like a grandfather in the Bad Company 2 days as that was one of the games I grew up, I was 13 or 14 at the time when I first met him in a TS3 server and am now 18 (tag: CUBIX. He was always around to talk to and knew how to make ya laugh and had some great stories of his time in the Navy. There were times of frustration and laughter while co-piloting tanks with him but are now great memories; I still have several photos he sent me during his time of work on the carriers and have just gone through them now. From the moment we finished our first conversation I knew he was a warm hearted and caring old timer just here to play a game and chill out. He helped me through some tough times when my younger brother passed away and I am so grateful for the words he shared and how he guided back to a straight path, I am so regretful that I never took the time to thank him. I can't remember if we left on good or bad terms but if I could have one last moment to say something I would thank him for being such an inspiration and so loyal while growing up. Even though I am on the other side of the world I had hoped to meet him one day when travelling after college but I guess he is with us all now in some way or another. This breaks my heart to be writing this but he is now in a better place. Rest easy buddy,

    We didn't know each other very good, but i remember You from F.E.A.R. game as we played as a team, this was great and i had a great time with You. I didn't know about Your health problems, which makes me even more sad and suprised... Rest in peace, Brother!
