It’s time for the big score – Battlefield Hardline: Robbery* is now rolling out for Battlefield Hardline Premium members today, September 16. It will be released for everyone else on September 30.

Premium members can jump in to the all-new Squad Heist mode, which combines the combat of Battlefield with the intimate fantasy of a classic heist in 5v5 battles. To see what makes this new mode so unique, check out “The Big Score,” Battlefield Hardline: Robbery’s Squad Heist Gameplay Trailer, which gives a look at the heist from both sides.

Premium Members and those who purchase the Robbery expansion separately** will also be able to become Legendary with a new Super Feature, and try out new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles, giving you all the tools you need to pull off (or stop) the perfect heist.

Robbery includes four new maps to master. There’s The Docks, a sprawling port with a multi-story cargo ship and makeshift towers of cargo crates; Precinct 7, a snowy, run-down, scrappy neighborhood with a recently closed police precinct in need of raiding; The Museum, an indoor map filled Egyptian relics, a planetarium, and the requisite ensemble of dinosaur bones; and Break Pointe, a long stretch of sun-drenched coast perfect for Hotwire mode.

A Base Game Update is also rolling out for all Battlefield Hardline players including new gear and weapons. There are also improvements to gameplay, weapons, and maps, as well as fixes to several bugs, client crashes, and server improvements. There are also three new Assault Rifles for all players that were originally included in the Precision, Versatility, and Suppression Pre-order Bundles.

All you have to do is submit an unlisted YouTube link of your best Battlefield Hardline gameplay to battlefieldsocial@ea.com. Be sure to include the words, “$1,000,000 In-Game Cash Video Competition” in the subject line of the submission. 10 videos will be selected by our panel of official judges, based on the following criteria:

• 40% Creativity
• 30% Originality
• 30% Appropriateness to Topic

Submissions must be sent by September 16 to be considered.

The top 10 submissions will then be shared via a voting link on September 18 for public voting. The video with the most votes on September 24, 2015 will be declared the winner, and the player will be rewarded with $1,000,000 in in-game cash.

A cold wind blows in from the north, and a lone SWAT sniper clutches his rifle with shivering hands. In that brief instant, he misses a squad of professional thieves dashing across the street, their movements cloaked in darkness and obscured by falling snow. Their target? The one place you’d expect criminals to be breaking out of, not in to: Detroit’s storied Precinct 7, recently shuttered and abandoned by the city. Discover what big score they hope to find when you play Precinct 7, one of the four new maps in Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery*.

Precinct 7 is Hardline’s first snow map, and the largest map in the Robbery expansion pack. The “down-but-not-out” Detroit setting will transport players to a scrappy neighborhood filled with homes, stores, warehouses, and (of course), the neighborhood police station. The station represents a hard lesson in good urban planning and fiscal responsibility; having recently been closed, it is a prime target for enterprising thieves.

It features two floors, a labyrinthine basement, and a bevy of ways to break in and infiltrate the most important room of all: the evidence locker. Criminals may decide to target nearby substations to knock out power and lights to the Precinct; alternatively, the weather-weakened roof of a nearby warehouse could provide a gadget-loving operator with a new approach.

With its massive size and excellent assortment of vehicles, Precinct 7 is a great map on which to play Hotwire. But the map, and police station specifically, were especially tailored for Robbery’s newest game mode, Squad Heist. Lots of movies and TV shows have portrayed the upside-down fantasy of trying to break in to a police station, and defend it from the cops. Now, the fantasy is yours to experience!

When Battlefield™ Hardline: Robbery* drops this fall, a base game update will be released that will grant all players (not just Premium members, or those who purchase Robbery separately) access to new gear and weapons to help them pull off the ultimate heist.

For starters, the FR Mask will be available as a gadget for the Operator class (only available to Premium members when the Base Game Update releases, but will be made available to everyone at a later to-be-determined date). This fire-resistant mask reduces – sometimes eliminates – fire damage from molotovs and incendiary grenades. Users of this gadget will stand out in a firefight with their NOMEX hood and goggles.

All classes will be able to use the throwback Carbine rifle. This semi-automatic weapon has less range than a typical Carbine or assault rifle, but makes up for with increased damage. This is a perfect all-class, mid-range weapon choice. Hardline players will also receive a new sidearm that shoots armor-piercing rounds. This short-to-medium range pistol really packs a punch.

Finally, veteran Battlefield players may recognize some fan-favorite weapons being added to Battlefield Hardline:

Assault rifle for the Operator class
It fires 5.56MM x 45MM at 850 rounds-per-minute, and is most effective in medium-ranged combat.

Shotgun for the Enforcer class
This is a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun that’s extremely effective in close-quarters.

Sniper Rifle for the Professional class
This semi-automatic sniper rifle shoots a .416 round, and is a go-to weapon for long-range combat.

SMG for the Mechanic class
This SMG fires a 9mm bullet and is great for the short-to-medium ranged game.

SMG for all classes
SMG-style weapon that fires rounds that can penetrate body armor; great short-to-medium ranged weapon.
