SLA, or "Specialization Land and Air". This is the clan's Command and Control node. You must apply at C&C in order to join. We are a vehicle-heavy platoon with two different sub-sections. 1: SLA Ground Operations. They deal with anything having to do with infantry or armor. 2: SLA Aerial Operations. They deal with Jets, Helos, and Designating targets for air support. If you are interested in joining, please contact "cristian_4_life" ~-Follow the chain of command!-~

SLA CALL SIGN PROGRAM

The 'SLA call sign program' is designed to help improve communications, organization and help bring the members together just that little bit more. It consists of three squads:

• MISFIT
• HAYMAKER
• RAPTOR

There may be more squads in the future, depending on how many more members we gain and how well this programs starts off. In each squad there will be anywhere from four to six, maybe even seven people. Although you can only have four people in a squad at one time in game, we've chosen to have more so that in the case of a member being absent, there can be someone there to replace him. If more than four people from the same call sign squad are in a round, they will simply have to make two squads, simple.

There will also be one radio man in each squad, it's his/her job to go onto teamspeak VOIP and relay orders, requests, intel and other strategic matter to the other squad radio men. If a squads radio man is absent, then someone elese will have to take his place for the time being, but beware, it's not as easy as it seems. You must be loud, clear, listen and make the right choices not just for you, but for the benefit of your squad and team.

FAQ

Does this apply to infantry and vehicles?

In the meantime it only applies to infantry, however we have considered branching out into vehicle designated squads, but that's still a work in progress.

Can we come up with our own call signs?

Unfortunately no, you will have to stick with the call sign you've been given, it will just make it more confusing for everyone if you had your own call signs.

Do you have to use this program all the time when playing with other SLA members?

No, this program will only be used when there is a considerable amount of members from two or more squads and if current SLA members in the round want to do it. It's not mandatory every time you're playing with other SLA members.

If you have anymore questions regarding the 'SLA call sign program', please contact and forward them to "Dorward43".
