Introducing the Battlefield 1 Boot Camp
Whether Battlefield™ 1 is your first foray into war on an epic scale or you’re a seasoned veteran, there’s always room to get better. And that’s why we’re happy to introduce the Battlefield 1 Boot Camp, a series of video guides and walkthroughs made by some of the most well-known names in the community. There’s even a special Online Phantom Dog Tag you can get just for heading to the page and signing in with your EA account*.
Head to the page and you’ll find three big buttons at the top of the page – these represent guided tours based on your skill level. Click the button that matches your experience and you’ll find a suite of videos made just for you.
Below that section is a veritable smorgasbord of guide and walkthrough videos. There are dozens of videos to watch, from things as detailed as How to Bayonet Charge to topics are relatively simple as How to Rank Up Fast. There’s plenty to look through for players of any skill level.
If you need to get good, there’s definitely something for you to watch at the Battlefield 1 Boot Camp. Already good? Well, then it’s time to get great.
* Limit one per EA account. You will need to log into your Battlefield 1 game (on applicable platform) with the same EA Account in order to receive the dog tag in-game. Offer may be withdrawn at any time.
Welcome to Battlefield 1!
As Battlefield™ 1 is rolling out worldwide, I’m looking back on a journey that started with a daring pitch from the team here at DICE. Fast forward a few years, and it’s almost surreal to see you getting your hands on the final result, facing the dawn of all-out war with the rest of the community.
With Battlefield 1, we wanted to create a fresh new take on the franchise, keeping that classic and unmistakable flavor that is Battlefield intact. It was a gamble. We knew that.
But with such a unique game setting like the Great War, many unique gameplay options came with it. Judging from your reactions (not to mention how much fun we’ve had with the game ourselves) I dare say the gamble has paid off.
Nothing fills me more with joy than hearing your stories from the game – how you won that dog fight, found that weapon pickup, or turned that round of Conquest around at the last minute. I look forward to many more stories of that kind.
See you on the battlefield!

But the battle isn’t over in Battlefield 4™ or Battlefield™ Hardline. There’s one last mission you need to report in for – and if you complete it, you’ll get something special in Battlefield 1.

The Road to Battlefield 1 Launch Livestream is Coming
You’re days away from being able to go hands-on with the final version of Battlefield 1. The EA Access and Origin Access Play First Trial* kicks off on October 13, the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition lands on October 18, and the worldwide release of Battlefield 1 comes on October 21. But we’ve got one last surprise up our sleeves for anyone interested in learning everything there is to learn about Battlefield 1: a 10-day long livestream event you won’t want to miss!
Starting on October 12 and running right up through the launch on October 21, we’ll be hosting daily livestreams for two hours a day, from 1PM to 3PM PT.
What sort of thing will we be showing off? A whole lot. We’ll have every map on display, from Sinai Desert to Suez and Ballroom Blitz. Each mode will be played as well, including new entries Operations and War Pigeons. They’ll be played by members of the Battlefield community team, as well as a bunch of special guests.
You can see the full schedule and find out more details on the Battlefield Live page. So, what do you think, ready for the last leg on the Road to Battlefield 1? We sure are, and we can’t wait to show you everything we have to offer.
Pre-Order Battlefield 1 Today, Get Early Access to the Giant’s Shadow Map
It’s been a long journey, but Battlefield™ 1 is almost here. If you’re an EA Access or Origin Access member, the Play First Trial* is just around the corner, arriving on October 13 – you can find full details on what’s included in the Battlefield 1 Play First Trial here. After that, it’s only a matter of days until the final game can be in your hands!
If you’ve already made up your mind, pre-ordering Battlefield 1 gives you seven-day early access to Giant’s Shadow, a new map coming in December. You’ll be able to try the map out a full week early, just for pre-ordering the game.
Still unsure which version to get? There are a few options.
If you pre-order the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, you’ll have access to everything the game has to offer three days before the worldwide release on October 18. That edition also comes with the Hellfighter Pack (including themed items based on the heroic deeds of the Harlem Hellfighters), the Red Baron Pack (crammed with items inspired by the famous fighter pilot, the flying ace of the German air force), the Lawrence of Arabia Pack (with items and weapons based on the adventures of the famous archaeologist and diplomat), 3x vehicle skins, and 5x Battlepacks. There’s also the Battlefield 1 Ultimate Edition, which you can find out more about here.
And on October 21, everyone can deploy into the dawn of all-out war, when Battlefield 1 releases worldwide on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Origin for PC. If you want to pre-order any of the editions, head over to the Pre-Order page on Battlefield.com and pick which version you want.
We’ll see you on the battlefield!
