Your mission? We want you to do 10 teammate revives on any game mode or map in Battlefield 4. As you know, this is done with the Defibrillator gadget available to the Assault class.

This mission is active between June 9^th, 9AM PT and June 15^th, 2AM PT.

Track the progress of your Community Mission here. You can also see how you’re doing if you bring up Battlelog from your in-game menu – just check the “Missions” tab (PC, PS4, and Xbox One only).

If you’re nimble enough with the Defibs to complete the mission, your reward will be a new Zodiac Dog Tag for your collection. Before the mission ends on June 15^th, 2AM PT, make sure to claim this on the Community Mission page, or in the Battlelog menu that you can access while you’re in the game.

As you may know, the Gun Master game mode is now part of Battlefield 4 after the deployment of the Spring Update. Made famous in Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, Gun Master is played like a Team Deathmatch game – but with a twist: you don’t get to choose the weapons used. During a round, weapons are swapped every time you get two consecutive kills on an opponent and whoever is the first player to get a kill with the final weapon in the tier wins.

Now, we want you to deep-dive into the additions of the Spring Update in a brand new Community Mission. Jump into Battlefield 4, get 10 kills with Assault Rifles, and do it before June 8, 2AM PT. So let’s go sharpshooters – there’s a Gold Battlepack in it for you if you succeed.

Before the mission ends, make sure to claim the Gold Battlepack on the Community Mission page or in the Battlelog menu that you can access while you’re in the game.

This mission is active between June 4, 9AM PT and June 8, 2AM PT. You can pursue this mission in either Gun Master or any other Battlefield 4 game mode.

Gone are the days where you had to be glued to your computer to interact with your friends from the Battlefield. You will now have the opportunity to chat, interact and organize play sessions with your Battlefield friends while on the road.

The Battlelog App now features:

• 1-on-1 chats, simply head to your friends profile page and start the chat.

• Group chats, want to add more people to the chat? Just hit settings, add more people and your good to go.

• Platoon chats, from the Platoon page you can now join and interact with your entire Platoon.

And what’s even better is the sync feature that keeps Battlelog and all your mobile devices updated with your latest chat sessions. And with Push notifications enabled it’s easier than ever to schedule your next victorious game session.

All chat features are now integrated into the Battlelog App Version 2.7.0. Chat will be available after you have restarted the Battlelog App.  If not, make sure you have the latest version (2.7.0) by going in to “Help & About” then “About” from the menu.

The Summer 2015 season of ESL One Battlefield 4 is upon us, and with it come some changes to the tournament! The most major change to the tournament is the switch to a new Battlefield 4 Mode, Squad Obliteration.

Introducing Squad Obliteration

In Squad Obliteration, teams fight over control of a bomb that they can use to destroy their opponents M-COM stations. Each team has 3 M-COM stations which they will have to protect from their enemies. When a team loses two of their M-COM stations, they lose the match.

Squad Obliteration will force teams to take a more tactical approach to both the defense of their own base and the offensive play towards their objectives. We look forward to seeing how the teams adjust their playstyle in this new Mode.

The Final Clash at Gamescom

The ESL One Battlefield 4 Summer 2015 Season will have its big finale at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany in August! There, teams from America, Europe and Oceania will face off against each other for the title of ESL One Battlefield 4 champion and their share of the prize pool.

The Summer 2015 Season will kick off on the June 2^nd. In the European region, the top six teams from the previous season are already qualified for the season cups. They will be joined by six teams which qualified through local qualification cups and four teams from the Major ladder which everyone is able to join. In the American and Oceanic regions, the seasonal cups are open to all teams.

Hot (cold?) on the heels of the Winter Update, we are back once again with a huge Battlefield 4 update. We are definitely not done with providing more awesome content. As previously mentioned, there are 5 new weapons incoming as well as a full weapons balance pass and the return of the party mode “Gun Master”, and what would an update be without some netcode improvements? There is of course a lot more that you will have the chance to read about once we publish the patch notes, so stay tuned for that.

The Spring Update will be deployed on Tuesday, May 26 across all platforms with the following downtimes:

• PC: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 08.00 UTC / 1.00 AM PDT.
• Xbox One: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 09.00 UTC / 2.00 AM PDT.
• Xbox 360: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 10.00 UTC / 3.00 AM PDT.
• PS4: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 11.00 UTC / 4.00 AM PDT.
• PS3: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 12.00 UTC / 5.00 AM PDT.
